30 years of professional experience in various fields, such as product management, marketing, sales, auditing, and public services for renowned international companies like Kuoni Travel, McCormick, KPMG, Lindt & Sprüngli, and for the Swiss government in China have made me a competent generalist over the decades.

When I moved to China in 2002, I was immediately fascinated by this country and its people. Everything was so different; more chaotic, but also pragmatic.

I wanted to do business with them and got taken advantage of.

No wonder, I didn't speak their language, I didn't understand their business mentality, and I did business the way I had learned in Switzerland.

So I started from the beginning:

  • I learned their language
  • I observed and learned how Asians operate.

In 2007, I founded AsiaLink in Switzerland and opened a representative office in China.
